Today is the Birthday of India’s Brave Player Shubman Gill, Know His Cricket Journey!

He’s only 24 years old and has already become the youngest player to score a double century in the history of ODI cricket. How amazing is that?

The amazing batsman from Punjab made a stellar debut for India’s Under-19 World Cup winning team in 2018. In just 5 innings of 6 matches as vice-captain, he scored an impressive 372 runs at an average of 124.00 with 1 century and 3 fifties. His name is Shubman Gill and he was also the highest run-scorer for India in the tournament, earning him the ‘Player of the Series’ award.

By playing an amazing inning of 208 runs in 149 balls against New Zealand, he also became the youngest player (23 years) to score a double century in ODI cricket history.

Gill has also played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League, scoring 2,790 runs in 91 matches at an average of 37.70 and a strike rate of 134.07.
