Hey there! The Indian cricket team is currently in Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup 2023 and we’re thrilled to share that they’ve made it to the Super 4 stage! They played amazingly in the group stage, defeating Nepal and earning a point against Pakistan. Their first match in Super 4 is on 10 September and we can’t wait to see them in action.
We’ve got some exciting news to share too! KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah have joined the Indian squad and will be part of the playing XI in the upcoming match against Pakistan. Unfortunately, two players will have to be dropped from the team to make room for them. We don’t know who they are yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
Super 4 Against Pakistan
KL Rahul had to sit out the first two matches of Asia Cup 2023 due to a knee injury, but he’s back and ready to contribute to the team’s success. Jasprit Bumrah had to leave the team for a bit before the match against Nepal, but he’s back now and actively practicing with the team.
It’s going to be a tough decision for the management to decide which players to drop, but we’re confident that they’ll make the right choice. Ishan Kishan has been performing brilliantly in the absence of KL Rahul, but he’s likely to be out for this match. Shardul Thakur’s performance hasn’t been great in the last two matches, so his place in the team is also in danger. Let’s cheer on Team India and hope for a great match against Pakistan!
